The Amazing Spiderman First Trailer

I was browsing items from different sneaker stores when a link to the first trailer of Marc Webb's The Amazing Spiderman appeared. This is the first Spidey film that is not Tobey Maguire. He played Peter Parker in three feature films. I guess he sort of outgrew the role and didn't want to play superhero roles anymore. Andrew Garfield is filling in Maguire's shoes. The first time I saw photos of Garfield and way before he was in The Social Network, I cannot seem to connect his features with Spiderman. Then this trailer came out and everything made sense.

School

There are a lot of things that I hated about my days as a student. As part of the academe. I never really enjoyed it. But I cannot deny that there are things that I really do miss doing when I was still in school.

It has been seven years, but I still miss:

  • recess
  • our literature classes where we are always asked to use merriam collegiate dictionary
  • official school holidays like when there is a typhoon or an official government holiday
  • sports fests
  • hanging out in the library

Incubus Tribute Party Tomorrow, July 14 at B-Side

One will not need apidexin to get that the Incubus Tribute party tomorrow at B-Side will be one of the coolest gig this month. The event is in preparation to Incubus' concert on 29 July at the Araneta Coliseum. The event features some interesting independent bands. I am looking forward to see the band Lime do some classic Incubus songs.

Updates

I have to update this blog more often. Apologies for the lack of real updates here. Working on these invitations for a friend's birthday, on top of other things. I have been busy working with a documentary too. The movie premiere is this September and I am busy with the plans and getting sponsors and looking for a venue, etc. We've been sending a lot of invites and proposals to different companies that could help us pull off the premiere.

In the meantime, let me share with you the trailer of the docu we will be premiering this September:

Shirts

Checking out these funny tshirts for my brother's birthday on Wednesday. He likes extra-ordinary, mostly weird shirts. He's really vain like that. He will be turning 25 and he doesn't even notice it. Enjoying his life like he used to and not thinking of anything else to worry.

Birthday celebration for his birthday is still not planned. Maybe he'll just have his friends over and have a couple of drinks.
