For Tony's Mom...Maybe?

Tony is the only person I know in Chicago and this Mother's Day Flowers in Chicago deal at ProFlowers.com is too hard to resist.

The website just posted a whole lot  of awesome deals with their flower arrangements and delivery deals. Some of them are bundled with other great gifts for mothers like perfumes and fruit baskets. How amazing is that. I just have to think and decide about it though, since I haven't met Tony's mom. More so, I haven't met Tony in person yet. Heh.

Zero 7

Why did I only found out about this band?! They sound amazing! Discovered it from a friend's tweet. He said it was the band's music was the perfect driving sound for him. So I got curious and searched for the band's videos on YouTube. And was I blown away! Great voice by Sia and Sophie. I think the band has no permanent vocalist as they have different vocalist on almost every song. I love how they incorporate a lot of instruments with their music.

I just downloaded the Zero 7's entire discography. Will listen to them while I clean the house tomorrow morning. :)

Alternative

Been reading about medicare supplement plans for the past hour. With how things are going on in our household, an alternative medical care for my mother is the best to-go-to that we can get. Knowing the fact that not everytime my mother's medical needs will be covered by my and my brother's company health benefits, we really need to have a back-up plan. A fall back of some sort.
Now maybe you are wondering why such a need. My mother has been a diabetic for 20 years. And for the past three years, the complications of her diabetes is starting to take its toll. First it was her kidneys. She's been having her dialysis sessions for more than a year now. The sessions are worth a fortune and I couldn't thank fate enough for putting me in a job with a company with amazing health benefits.

This battle my family is in is just beggining. Backups are a must.

Vertigo

Went to the doctor yesterday. Been having a series of dizzy spells and never ending headache for almost a week now. For someone who's been faithfully sleeping in a fair time, that isn't normal. Even for someone who's looking for the best cheap auto insurance quote in an entertainment website. What? :P

Saturday will be a busy day for me as tests like CBC, Creatinine levels, blood sugar etc. will be done. This is to find out where all this headaches and dizziness are coming from.

Up Dharma Down April 2011 Gig Schedule

March went by really fast! Looking at these yakima bike racks and the recent sunny weather we've been having, I suddenly miss biking. I do not have my own bike yet, but hopefully I'll be able to have my own soon.
