Image like this is one of the reasons why I have been spending loads of my browsing time at Life Magazine's website. The online magazine have a chock-full of albums and pages that features candid and not-so-candid shots of celebrities, animals, and regular people. One of my favorite spots on the site is their archives. Old photos of big stars like Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Audrey Hepburn; old photos of the historical events of the world such as World War I, the Vietnam War; and other significant events that one could imagine.
I have been thinking of the magazine's equivalent here in the Philippines. There's only one newspaper here that's over a hundred years old: The Manila Bulletin. I wonder if they have a photo archive as comprehensive as Life Magazine's.
