Detectors 101

Detectors are essential to any secure establishments and systems. Been reading about radar detectors for an article I'll be writing in a bit. And the things I've been reading have been interesting so far. Not all detectors are allowed in some states in the US so learning about them are really necessary for those who’ll be using them on their operations. It’s not illegal, though. They just do not allow them in some places for security reasons.

Car Air Filters

Those, I think, are what my father wanted for his birthday. His natal day's on August 11 and he's now in the middle of refurbishing our old, trusted owner-type jeep. I've never tried purchasing anything for our jeep online, but I might to not spoil the surprise. I Googled air filters and saw a couple of interesting results. I am currently browsing the products CaRiD.com, and read some interesting things about air filters. This essential part of a vehicle’s machine must be the one among those that are always maintained. Air filters consist of one big system that not only filter air, but oil and fuel as well. Clean air, oil and fuel are the crucial components that will determine a car’s performance. CaRiD.com has a wide range of air filter manufacturers one can find online. They cater to almost any car in the market. The web site’s user-friendly interface made searching for the right kind of filter for my father’s easily. Purchasing items had no hassles at all since the automobile parts online store accepts almost all modes of payments; from credit cards, secure cash payments, and wired payments. Plus they also have a toll fee, 24-hour customer service hotline at 800-505-3274.

How Did This Happen?!

Capture

100 creative souls are following me now on Tumblr. I still cannot believe it. Even the fact that breeches and other Equestrian equipments and accessories are at their most affordable when purchased online, heee. I just had to share that. Going back to Tumblr, my blog there just turned one a couple of weeks ago and having a hundred people taking their time to visit your page and click the Follow badge is flattering. Been posting random things that I like on that blog since I am really writing more of my thoughts on this and my three other blogs.

But this is just amazing. I mean, wow. Thank you :)

King Of Anything

I love love love this new song from Sara Bareilles. It’s definitely an anthem for those people who have been thrown judgments here and there. My favorite part of the song is definitely the chorus:

Who cares if you disagree, you are not me
Who made you king of anything?
So you dare tell me who to be
Who died, and made you king of anything

Polaroid-themed video = perfect!

APE

One thing I don't like about company physical examinations are the awkward questions. The dreaded questions of the doctors about your body and its condition. The doctor whom I've consulted with said something about weight loss products and how most of them are categorized under food supplements. Now, that I didn't know. I thought these products were under a different category, like cosmetic drugs or similar to that. She reminded me that I don't really need it since my weight is still on the average. I just need to watch my carbo intake from time to time. Bookmark

Pitch

A lot of the things I dreaded happen today. First the electricity fluctuated just as I was saving my files I've worked on for the past three hours. A miscalculated typhoon hit the country last Tuesday and everything is slowly going back to normal. The working scenario is doubly stressful, I sometimes wonder where can I get the best acne treatment as my face is also acting up with the present stress. Zits poping on my forehead isn't a good sign, especially if I have a date coming up. Haaalllp. :|

Plants vs. Zombies

Yesterday, my brother introduced me to Plants vs. Zombies. And man, is that game addicting or what?! For those of you who’s not familiar with the game and the whole social networking apps phenom, then Plans vs. Zombies may be new to your ear. It’s a game where you kill zombies to prevent them from entering your house and eating your brains. I got so hooked into it yesterday, I started around 12noon and stopped around 5pm. I even forgot that I am supposed to write something about acne scar removal that's due in a couple of hours because I was so in the game.

There's a Zombie on your lawn!

I forgot how many levels the game has, but strategy is the key to get rid of these nasty zombies and pass a level. I am currently in level 4-6 and I have tons of extra stuff gained from the previous levels like sunflower boosters, to powerful pepper bomb, to a squash and a couple of cool mushrooms.

OMG! There’s a zombie on my lawn! Got to go! Kbai!

Mr. Fitz

It's going to be a long day of writing for me. The assignments just came in and I'll be busy researching and writing about them. The earliest deadline is about extenze, which requires a 300-word article with at least three images. But before I get busy with those, let me introduce you to my new crush, Ian Harding. Heh.

 ian-harding

Ian Harding plays Ezra Fitz in ABC's Pretty Little Liars. Been raving about the show on my blogs these past couple of weeks. The show's on their 5th week, and I tell you, it keeps getting better with every episode. The next episode will be Homecoming, and I cannot wait to see Mr. Fitz wearing his suit. Raawwr.

Closing Time

I'll leave you with one question to ponder on before I log out and call it a day: what causes hair loss? There might be a lot things going on in your head right now. Old age may come to mind. Nasty products might come next, or an active social relationshitp. Whatever it might be, I want to know. Just click on the comment link below this post and share your thoughts, aight?

Alright, sleeping time! Good night! :)

Marketing Ploy

It's everywhere. I've been reading something about affiliate marketing program when I pondered on the extent of marketing ploys I have encountered. May it be for a detergent soap, a food supplement or a movie; advertisers are going out of their way just to persuade consumers to use their products or watch the movie. One detergent brand insist that they can remove the strongest stains there is. They prove it by showing how easily a drop of crude oil be removed from a white cloth. They’ve used the ploy for some time, only when another detergent brand disprove their theory and said that oil doesn’t mix with water, hence the easily removal of the so called “stain.” Another ploy I came across with just recently is how one actor, who plays a vampire, is allegedly related to the original and real vampire, Vlad the Impaler. I don’t know about you, but all I can see is that it has marketing ploy written all over it.

New Potter Trailer!

It's finally here!

MTV Movie Awards showed a minute (or was it less than a minute) preview of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1. But this time, it’s a whole new trailer! Two minutes of the much anticipated movie based on the closing of the celebrated J.K. Rowling novel. For those of you who’s not a fan of the book and movie franchise, this last installment is divided in two parts. It’s the 7th novel and the one that most fans really excited about. It was a good call for the producers to present the novel in two parts. The novel is the first time Harry, Ron and Hermione will not be spending their year in Hogwarts. Left with a mission trusted to them by Dumbledore before he died. I am very very excited to see the final battle, where Muggles and Wizards unite to fight Death Eaters led by Voldemort.

Part 1 will be out this November and Part 2 on July 2011.
