Miranda

Isn’t she so pretty?

Saw this photo at JustJared. I was taking a break on my research about slimquick extreme and decided to check out the entertainment blog. Of all the supermodels, Miranda Kerr is my most favorite. I love her boho-chic style. She always go out without that much make up on so you can really tell she is the prettiest among the bunch. She’s Australian and most Pinoys thought that she’s part Filipina because of her morena features. But she said that she is not.

Early Summer

Judging from the unbearable heat for the past three weeks, summer is undeniably here. Most of the people are calling it El NiƱo because of its massive effect with the country’s agriculture industry. My body is starting to act up with the weather too. These colon cleansing products will definitely be a huge help for me since I've been having stomach problems because of the change in the weather. Putting these negative effects aside, summer is still my favorite season of the year. One of my most memorable was a trip to Anawangin last 2008 with friends.

I hope we could go back and camp out again this year.

Fifteen Again

Dawson's Creek

Been crackin’ myself with my research on the best muscle building supplement for the past hour. It's been picking up well and might be able to start with the write-up by the end of the week. The client wanted me to write a thousand words and summarize all the research work I have been sending them via e-mail. Thought of giving myself a break and start watching the Season 01 episodes of Dawson’s Creek. I started downloading them last weekend. I remember watching the show when I was in high school. I was 15 when the show premiered in Studio 23. It airs Mondays at 8pm that time. Yes it was a school night, but for the first time, my mother allowed me to stay up until 9pm and watch the show unsupervised.

Better get a cup of Milo and go over the couch and stop typing. :D

Wrap Up

It’s 11:28 in the evening. My eyes are failing me. This cannot be. An energy auditor is waiting for me on the other line for the deal we've been negotiating with the bosses. Good thing, I'm still on the verge of wanting everything to work out. The proposal’s out, the initial meeting was done earlier today, and everything is all there. All we need are three signatures and all will be in place…

Silid Shirt

I WANT ONE!

Silid Shirt

I found this shirt from Carlos' Facebook page this morning. The band is selling it for Php250 each. That's way cheaper than the best acne pill around, hehe. Anyways, I haven’t been to an Up Dharma Down gig for a month now. But I am still getting my daily dose of Dharma by updating the Tumblr site I created and moderate for the band. I am looking forward to seeing the guys on Friday at their 6UG gig.

Percy Jackson and The Olympians: The Lightning Thief

Percy Jackson

So my mom recommended that I see this movie. She and my dad chose this movie for their pre-Valentine date. Actually, dad asked me that morning what are the movies in the cinemas. I mentioned Percy and said Pierce Brosnan was on the film. My mom asked me to call her that afternoon while she and dad was at the mall. I was in the middle of researching about lipozene when I got the text message. I called her immediately and then she updated me about her check-up and then raved about the film. I only had the chance to see the film’s trailer when I went to see Sherlock Holmes and was really impressed. I hope I’d have time to watch the film this weekend.

Crab Mentality

Pausing for a while. This motorcycle accident lawyer assignment can wait. I needed to write something that has been bugging me for the past couple of weeks -- the crab mentality going around at Facebook.

They think they're all smart and know a lot about politics, when all they do is to put another candidate down. It's not enough for them to just support a candidate. They needed to bash other candidates too just to make the candidates they support look good.

Myriad Pro And Other Fonts

I decided to take home a piece of work. Our Technical Administrator was kind enough to allow me to have access to to our company's server while here at home. Been trying to customize the company's Development Blog the whole week. I am noob to all these SharePoint Designer hullabaloos. I am in the middle of working on the blog and learning how to design it using SharePoint Designer. The whole process is like figuring out how to put up a fitness equipment without any reference manuals. It's all trial and error for me. That plus creating the related graphics for the blog’s page design. I am currently downloading Myriad Pro font set and will be looking for other fonts. Then after installing those is the only time I could really work on the graphics completely. I just found out that the Myriad Pro fonts are the ones used my Mac. Kewl.

Hiatus Is Almost Over

 Diana Agron and Cory Monteith

Got this really adorable picture of Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith from LJ. As most of you who’ve been reading this blog, and my other blogs for that matter, may have known that I am a huge huge huge Gleek. The first time I saw the preview of Glee earlier last year, I kept myself updated and made sure that I have access to the show’s latest episodes and what’s going on with the cast. I follow a few of them on Twitter, and I must say, based on their almost-daily tweets, that some of them live a very interesting normal life.

Watching the show is not really a testosterone booster (not that I needed any of that since I am a girl), but it's unique and definitely put a smile on my face every time I watch it.

Decode

The whole weeks has been about decoding. There may be a better term for it, but I'd like to label my simmering good relationship with SharePoint Designer as such. I was tasked to dress-up our company's development blog (nothing like the http://www.wholesaleinsurance.net website)to make it more interesting to write thoughts to. The principal authors would be all of our program developers. It's kinda like their online newsletter where they can post project updates and accomplishments.

Done with the blog's background, sidebar and main content area. All I needed to figure out is how to put the header, a ton of graphics and how can I make everything work in sync.

Yay me.
